50th anniversary of Apollo landing
WHAT: On July 20, 1969, NASA’s Apollo 11 lunar module touched down on the moon, capping a decade of scientific exploration, study and innovation. Celebrate this moment in history at Irvine’s Pretend City, where children can spend the day learning about space exploration through interactive STEM activities, stories and artwork.

Laugh with Jay Mohrat the Improv
WHAT: Don’t miss former “Saturday Night Live” headliner Jay Mohr at the Irvine Improv. Mohr began performing stand-up at age 16 and has appeared in 25 feature films, including “Picture Perfect” with Jennifer Aniston, and “Jerry Maguire” with Tom Cruise. He’s also been named one of the top 100 comedians of all time by Comedy Central.
