Chippy uses artificial intelligence to replicate Chipotle’s recipe, right down to giving it a human touch.

“Everyone loves finding a chip with a little more salt or an extra hint of lime,” Chipotle Vice President of Culinary Nevielle Panthaky says. “We trained Chippy to ensure the output mirrored our current product, delivering subtle variations in flavor that our guests expect.”

Chippy is being tested at the Chipotle Cultivate Center in UCI Research Park and will be introduced to restaurants later this year.
